You Want Someone Different

My ad school had hecklers. While some were writing web copy for MeUndies, I was in dank basements pitching jokes to drunk people (picturing them in TheirUndies).

This led to getting cast in a bunch of improv-heavy ads, where I was mostly hired to write on camera, breathe life into stiff copy, and steal granola bars.

But Not Too Different

I worked as a freelance CD at DDB, going from brief through production for State Farm: circling back, putting pins in things, typing “per my last email” then frantically deleting it.

I loved it, State Farm loved the work, and my ECD loved me.

I also ghostwrite treatment decks for big-name commercial directors. It’s an odd gig impersonating the artsy middle child of agency, client, and production but a masterclass in pitching sharp, usable ideas and getting zero credit for them.

Who Delivers

The road less traveled has left me with a lot of skills, a lot of bills, but not much of a book. So I decided to make one. Thanks for coming, and shoot me an email if MeUndies is hiring.
